E19. Three things to Increase Daily Happiness

Do you start your day feeling happy about life?

It may be hard to feel happy every day especially when there are plenty of negative vibes around you. 

However, there are three simple techniques that you can implement to increase daily happiness! And these are what I talked about in my latest podcast episode. Click the image below to listen!

Many entrepreneurs come into the business, start the grind, experience challenges, and then they find themselves very unhappy. Why?

Because they realize that the old adage is true - they are the only people who work 80 hours a week to avoid working 40 hours a week.

So, how do we turn the table around? 

The key is to not try to succeed in business so that you can have the results that make you happy. Just spend more time in your day-to-day life feeling happy in general. 

And when you do, ironically, you'll find yourself rendezvousing with those things that you wanted to create in your business and in your life to make you happy.

[15:45] If you look at your vision board and genuinely feel the positive anticipation of what's on it, then it's serving you!

[19:20] The most productive thoughts are the thoughts that feel good.

[21:17] If you start to become aware of where you are spending most of your mental chatter, that's the beginning of a great pivot.

[24:11] “Care about how you feel, enough to not think of thoughts that feel bad even if it's the thought that makes sense”.

[27:42] Spend more time everyday just getting a little bit happier for the sake of being happy only, all those things that are important to you will start to work themselves out.
[27:55] Learn to be HAPPY daily just for the sake of being happy and your life and business will unfold incredibly.

 

Here are the three things that you can do to increase daily happiness and tap into more positive vibes

  1. Positive Aspects: Spend time each morning thinking about and writing down the blessings in your life. 
  2. Creative Visualization: Spend time daily envisioning, smelling, hearing, and feeling exciting things you’d like to create in your future. 
  3. Thought Replacement: Trade any time thinking about negative or unpleasant things with anything that feels better.

It's not a bad thing to aspire happiness on a daily basis. 

If you can spend more time every day just getting a little bit happier for the sake of being happy, your life and your business will unfold incredibly.
