E25: How the Universe Sees Christmas

Dec 23, 2022

What does Christmas mean to you?

Take a moment to think about and reflect on it.

If you're like me who grew up very Christian in a very specific Christian religion, but are now forging your own spiritual path, you may have felt some conflict.

Conflict in believing what you believe now, operating the way that you operate now, and wanting to partake in traditions that don't quite line up with how you think and believe and show up in your life today.

So, in this episode, I talk about how the Christmas narrative ties into a lot of new-age spiritual beliefs.

In This Episode You Will Learn About:

  • The narrative of Christmas versus the new age spiritual tradition
  • How I see Jesus' mission and salvation
  • Why heaven is Now
  • How the point of it all is always LOVE

Even though Christmas was so different from my current beliefs, some things felt special to me. I love the tradition. I love being able to celebrate Christmas.

And ultimately what I concluded is I see Jesus as an example of love.

Here's a preview of the episode:

[7:15] We are all God unfolding. Anything that is contrary to love is out of nature, it's a disagreement with our nature.
[8:04] Jesus' mission was to be an example of love, to teach presence, and to show that heaven is now.
[8:26]
I don't see Jesus as being on a mission to fix everyone who is broken but rather to show people what it means to return to love, to be deeply present
[8:45] It is fascinating to read the words of Jesus through the lens of someone who is not there to fix broken humans but rather as a human himself who is divinity in human expression.
[9:50] Salvation isn't going from sin to worthiness. You are worthy. Salvation is returning to the worthiness that you are.
[14:33] I feel a sense of gratitude to be able to be in the space of connection with people I love, to be in a space where the underlying message is no matter what narrative we use to get there. the place we always get to is loving each other.
[14:57] Heaven is now because heaven is when you return to peace, peace is your natural state, it's a core of you, and love is at the core of you.

I don't see Jesus as being on a mission to fix everyone who is broken, but rather to show people what it means to return to love, to be deeply present.

I don't see salvation as going from sin to worthiness. I know that I am worthy. I know that you are worthy.

You can never get unworthy because you are God, you are love. You are divinity in the expression of your physical human format.

So, whatever the season means to you, whatever holidays you celebrate, I know that what's waiting for you is always good things.

I want you to know that not only has the Universe heard you, but the Universe has already lined it up for you to have it.

I want you to rendezvous with those blessings, not by seeking the blessing but rather by returning to love, by returning to the peace within you.

Make it unconditional, and then you get to be that gift for the people around you.

I wish you peace, love, and a very merry Christmas.

Andrew
