E28. Stop caring what other people think

Oct 08, 2021

You're not the only one.

We all compare ourselves to others more than one or two times in our lives. I know I have.

If you find yourself being weighed down by the comparison pandemic, my latest podcast episode is for you.

Remember the idiom, “Comparison is the thief of joy?"

It's definitely true.

When you get into the habit of comparing yourself to other people, you lose touch with who you really are.

Your focus is no longer on your mission, your core values, and all of that stuff that actually matters.

Here's a preview of the episode:

[2:15] When you get into the habit of comparing yourself to other people, you lose touch of who you really are.

[2:27] You're here to do something purposeful and meaningful, something that will impact other people.

[5:49 ] You are fundamentally ENOUGH.

[10:28] What matters is what you are feeling and what you are being.

[13:11] You do not need any condition to validate your worth.

[14:53] You are loved and supported by divinity because you are enough.

How often is success, love, money, and everything else you want is right in front of you and accessible to you, but energetically mismatched to you because of old habits of comparing yourself to others?

We know that comparison is not a useful thing. So, how do you turn the table around?

What can you do to stop comparing yourself to others?

First, you need to recognize when you're comparing yourself to others. I bet there are moments that you realize you're doing it. You need a method to recognize it before it spins out of control.

Next, shift that feeling of not being enough to know that you are deeply loved and supported and that everything is working out for you.

In this episode, I highlight quite a few ways to catch comparison and pivot into thoughts that actually serve you.

When you stop comparing yourself to others, you find yourself coming easily into the wholeness of who you really are.

And that is you. You're more than enough.
